Château des Launes rosé

Vin rosé de Provence

A Luminous Combination

Cuvée Héloïse 2010

A mix of old Cinsault (70%) and Grenache (30%) vines... Old vines and wonderful varieties... An original combination of grapes.

This Côte de Provence takes Rosé wine to its artistic summit. Pale and delicate with strong floral notes (violets and white flowers) and a very refreshing fruity complexity of small, tangy red berries (gooseberries…) and summer fruits with white flesh (nectarines…). Victor is a must for all menus, both sweet and savoury – and wonderful with tapenade, pissaladière (onion and anchovy pizza), Provencal tuna and fresh fruit salad.

Vin rosé de Provence

  • Gold Medal:Mondial du rosé, 2011.
  • Terroir: Light in structure : a silt soil composed of gneiss and schist mixed with bits of clay on a fractured base of sandstone.
  • Grape variety: A mix of old Cinsault (70%) and Grenache (30%) vines- a wonderful expression of our silica-based soils.
  • Production: 50 hl / ha.
  • Harvest: Hand-picked. Selected on the vine and in the cellar on a vibrating sorting table.
  • Vinification: A few hours of maceration followed by gentle pressing in our pneumatic wine-presses. Fermentation at low temperatures (15-16° C) to conserve all the aromas. Light assembly then clarification by natural sedimentation.
  • Potentiel de garde : À consommer dès aujourd’hui et pendant 2 ans.
  • Characteristics: Pale and delicate in colour. Intense nose with citrus (grapefruit), tropical, and dried fruit notes. With a finale of lively fruits, keeping all the aromas alive. A beautiful length in the mouth on the various fruits, proves a perfect complement to the balance and offers a fresh, delicate mouth to finish.
  • Aging Potential: A wine to enjoy today and keep for up to two years.
  • Accompaniments: Ideal as an aperitif, with tapenade, pissaladière, Provençal tuna and fresh fruit salad.
